The P.A.D. Coalition is governed by officers and standing committees that are representative of its membership. The Coalition is led by a Steering Committee that oversees the day-to-day operations, policies, and finances of the Coalition. The Coalition’s Coordinating Committee, which elects the Steering Committee, is responsible for setting the Coalition’s strategic plan and is composed of one delegate from each “full” and “liaison” member organization. Standing committees provide leadership for the Science, Advocacy, Education, Membership, Communications, and Fundraising functions of the Coalition.
The Nominating Committee annually offers a “Call for Nominations” to its member organizations to seek and establish a slate of candidates to serve as Officers of the Coalition and for membership on the Steering Committee. This “Call for Nominations” is issued in June and elections occur at the Coalition’s fall Annual Meeting.
