About Advocacy
The P.A.D. Coalition works to advocate for health care policies and practices that ensure access to evidence-based diagnostic and treatment strategies to improve P.A.D. outcomes.
Key goals include:
- Obtain reimbursement for supervised P.A.D. exercise rehabilitation therapy
- Broaden reimbursement for the performance of the ankle-brachial index (ABI)
- Add P.A.D. to the Congressional mandate
- Increase government funding of P.A.D. research
