AGS - Dedicated to the Health of Older Americans
The American Geriatrics Society (AGS) is a nationwide, not-for-profit association dedicated to improving the health, independence, and quality of life of all older people. As the premier professional organization comprised of over 6,800 active health care professionals, the AGS is able to bring the health care concerns of our rapidly aging population to the forefront of the national consciousness.
The AGS Foundation for Health in Aging (FHA) aims to build a bridge between the research and practice of geriatrics health care professionals and the public, and to advocate on behalf of older adults and their special healthcare needs.
