Canadian Society for Vascular Surgery
The Canadian Society for Vascular Surgery mission statement has as its mandate to provide a forum for Canadian vascular surgeons, enhance and monitor the standards of care for patients with vascular disease, advise the speciality committee on vascular education, enhance and encourage research programs and represent the views of vascular surgeons in Canada to the public and governmental organizations.
The Canadian Society for Vascular Surgery strives to establish policy in Canada with regard to vascular care and screening programs. The Society participates in the international scene, having representation on the TASC committee and in the documents creation. The Society is a member of the AAVS, with representation on its board as well as the Society for Vascular Surgery’s board.
